On Thursday 13 August, Small Green Shoots will take over Camden Market with 'UpShoots', an event exploring the connection between music and social media. Get ready for a day full of live music, DJs and panel talks.
The day kicks off at 2pm, in the UMusic Shop (Stables Market), with 'The Future of Music: The Power of Social Media' panel talk. Industry professionals will share valuable insight into how social media is being used in the music industry.
At 3:15pm, a live conversation with a content creator will take place in UMusic Shop where you can learn about building a successful career in content creation, with a chance for questions at the end.
From 5-7pm, new musical talent will perform live in the Amphitheatre (Stables Market), opening with a live DJ set.
Small Green Shoots are a London-based NPO, dedicated to increasing career opportunities within the music and creative business for underrepresented young adults. So far, they've launched the careers, and secured early-stage funding, for artists such as Jorja Smith, Hamzaa, The Compozers, plus more.
